Applications

TCEP HCl  -scavenger in TFA cleavages of peptide resins. Disulfide bond-reducing agent in peptides and proteins.

  • Odorless reducing agent
  • Comparable with DTT effectivity
  • Stable – does not oxidize under exposure to air. Not reactive with protein functional groups. Stable in acidic aqueous solutions
  • Water soluble
  • TCEP, unlike some other reducing agents, doesn’t require removal prior to most applications
